Key features of the 2026/27 Proposed Budget include a $16.439 million investment in capital works, with half of these efforts funded via State and Federal government grants or contributions. The Proposed Budget also features an increase in revenue raised through municipal rates that complies with the State Government's Fair Go Rates System.
Residents can have their say on the 2026/27 Proposed Budget and the accompanying Proposed Fees and Charges for 2026/27 before 5pm Friday, 15 May in various ways, including online, phoning Council, writing to or emailing Council.
Residents are also encouraged to have their say on the draft
Gannawarra Urban Stormwater Management

The draft document will guide Council's planning, prioritisation, delivery and reviewing of urban stormwater networks at Cohuna, Kerang, Koondrook, Leitchville, Murrabit and Quambatook for the next 10 years, while remaining adaptable to changing risk, funding availability, climate conditions and growth pressures.
Residents can have their say regarding the draft
