Residents are encouraged to provide feedback regarding the operations of Gannawarra Shire Council-managed swimming pools at Cohuna and Kerang by completing a short survey.
Available to complete up to 5pm Friday, 29 May, the survey focuses on the outdoor swimming pools at Cohuna and Kerang, as well as the Kerang Exercise Pool, located at Patchell Plaza.
The survey forms part of a review of operations at these Council-managed swimming pools and is focused on how these facilities are managed and used, rather than the physical infrastructure of the facilities.
Through the survey, residents can provide feedback on current usage, entry fees, program costs and the funding of these services. Residents who may not use the facilities due to various barriers are encouraged to complete the survey and provide suggestions to improve access and inclusion.
"Residents and visitors regularly take the opportunity to visit the Council-managed outdoor swimming pools at Cohuna and Kerang that are open between November and March each year, as well as the exercise pool at Kerang's Patchell Plaza," Council Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.
"This survey enables people who may have visited for swimming lessons, school programs, events, social gatherings, or recreation to provide input into the operations of these Council services.
"This will also be the opportunity for those who use the exercise pool at Patchell Plaza for rehabilitation and therapy, exercise programs, or learn to swim lessons to outline what is important and what could be improved."

. Copies of the survey will also be available at Council's Customer Service Centres at Cohuna and Kerang, as well as at the Kerang Exercise Pool at Patchell Plaza.
"All feedback received will assist Council in planning the future operations of Council-managed aquatic facilities, so please take the time to complete the survey and let us know how important these services and programs are to you," Mr Rollinson said.
