Libraries Manager Camille Cullinan said the event is a fantastic opportunity for the community to connect with an accomplished Australian author in a relaxed and engaging setting.
"We are delighted to welcome Jo Dixon to Swan Hill Library and provide our community with the chance to hear from one of Australia's bestselling authors.
"Libraries are places where stories connect people, and events like this give our community the opportunity to engage directly with the people behind those stories," Ms Cullinan said.

. She lives in rural Tasmania, where she balances her writing career with life on a small farm and an ever-growing collection of animals.
The event will be held at Swan Hill Library on Wednesday 29 July at 2.30pm. Book sales and signings will be available on the day, courtesy of Collins Booksellers Swan Hill.
