Garden Club Warracknabeal Helps Beautify Local Streetscapes

Warracknabeal's streetscapes have received a fresh burst of colour and greenery thanks to a generous $400 donation from the Garden Club Warracknabeal.

The donation was provided to Yarriambiack Shire Council to assist with the purchase of plants to enhance public garden beds throughout the town.

Council used the funding to purchase a variety of plants, which have since been planted in several key locations including the traffic islands along Noall Street and Craig Avenue, garden beds in and around Scott Street, and as part of tree planting projects across the township.

Yarriambiack Shire Council Chief Executive Officer Tammy Smith thanked the Garden Club Warracknabeal for its ongoing commitment to improving the local environment and supporting community pride.

"The Garden Club Warracknabeal continues to make a valuable contribution to our community through its dedication to beautifying public spaces," Ms Smith said.

"This generous donation has helped Council enhance several prominent areas of Warracknabeal, creating more attractive and welcoming streetscapes for residents and visitors alike."

The newly planted garden beds and trees will provide long-term environmental and aesthetic benefits, contributing to the character and liveability of the township.

A Garden Club Warracknabeal representative said the club was pleased to support Barbara Morrow's initiative by donating funds to beautify the town and foster community pride.

"We are delighted to contribute to projects that make Warracknabeal a greener and more vibrant place to live and visit".

Council acknowledges the important role community groups play in supporting local projects and helping create attractive, thriving communities.
