Labor Spends More, Taxes More and Delivers Less

Dr WEBSTER (Mallee) (13:48): Labor is wasting billions of dollars while Australian families struggle to pay their bills. Mallee families, farmers and small businesses are paying the price for Labor's reckless spending, higher taxes and failed energy policies. The coalition has a better plan. We will cut $31 billion of Labor's wasteful spending, repair the budget and give Australians back more of their own hard-earned money. Our $20 billion tax back guarantee will index income tax brackets to inflation, so Australians aren't punished by higher taxes simply because their wages rise.

And where will the savings come from? We will cut $9.4 billion from Labor's bloated climate bureaucracy and another $7.3 billion from corporate welfare. That means ending taxpayer funded subsidies for Labor's expensive green energy experiments.
